Who We Are
The MSeed team has more than 10 years of experience as managers of world-class online gaming businesses, game developers, academics and marketers. We recognize the potential of Thai developers to create games that can compete in the global market with guidance, mentoring, and funding. That’s why our team came together – to make dreams come true for the younger generation who are passionate about gaming, and to make sure that the name of the Thai game startup is recognized on a global level. We want to serve the gaming ecosystem, and build and complete the online gaming system in Thailand.
What We Do
Backed by MLink Asia Corporation PCL, MSeed partners with new entrepreneurs to invest seed money at the early stages of creating new and innovative games or gaming technology. In addition to funding support, we provide office space, tools and other technology needed by the startups to create an awesome product. Our services include consulting and mentoring from people with real experiences. That’s how we will show the Thai gaming startup to the world!
MSeed knows it takes more than ideas and creativity to launch online gaming and technology ventures. Competition is fierce – especially in Thailand, a hotbed for Southeast Asian technology development. Our early-stage seed funding gives startups the needed financial boost to compete, stand out and ultimately succeed.
Open 24-hours. Walking distance from the BTS. Free snacks. That’s just a few of the perks of MSeed’s newly renovated workspace located in the heart of Bangkok. It’s a fun and cool place for entrepreneurs to focus on their creative process and collaborate with like-minded individuals. Our workspace takes care of everything a startup needs – tools and technology, and subsidized or free office space that’s perfect for meetings and networking events.
MSeed’s team and global network of leading industry experts guide entrepreneurs as they build their startups and encounter technology, business and regulatory challenges. Our team draws upon proven successes and experiences in industries like online gaming, national telecommunications and government organizations. MSeed’s network gives entrepreneurs access to mentors throughout the world who are leaders in business, finance, game development and marketing
Startups who work with MSeed will have access to a global network of VCs, developers, publishers and even other startup entrepreneurs. When we partner with a publisher like Garana or a big-name Silicon Valley company – you benefit from that connection, too.

Sakolkorn “Ton” Sakavee is the former CEO and founder of Playinter and Garena Online (Thailand). He has over eight years experience in the online gaming industry. He started his career as a freelance writer for a well-known game-focused magazine in Thailand.
Ton is always creating new things for the ecosystem of online gaming and the industry itself. His first startup business was Playinter back in 2009. Playinter is a community for gamers who play foreign-made games. The community became so big and famous that it created global online gaming fever for the first time in Thailand. In 2011, Playinter joined with Garena to offer online games. The joint venture started by bringing Heroes of Newerth to Thailand for the first time. Garena later introduced four more games to the market and became the number one online gaming company in Thailand based on number of players. This all happened within two years.
Ton is also known for starting and fostering the e-sport industry in Thailand. The e-sport "fever" started in Thailand because of his efforts. This was yet another example of Ton’s efforts to push the game developer industry to compete on a global level.
